The Foundation is currently seeking a Senior Accountant, a position that will support investment and component fund accounting, account reconciliations, and other general ledger/accounting functions, financial reporting, audit preparation and budgeting.
The Senior Accountant will be a member of the Foundation’s Finance Department reporting to the Controller.
The ideal candidate should be a strong team player who is dependable, proactive, adaptable in a fast-paced work environment, and who is detail-oriented, timely, and organized. A bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration with a concentration in accounting and three-plus years of accounting experience are required; a Certified Public Accountant is desired.
The ideal candidate must have a positive attitude and commitment to the Foundation’s mission, vision, and to equity for all.
The candidate must also have strong problem solving and analytical skills, strong verbal and written communications skills, and approach working as part of a team in a collaborative manner. Proficiency with Word and Excel is a must.
