Fund for Rhode Island Public Education: 2022 Year in Review

The Rhode Island Public Education Fund was established at the Rhode Island Foundation to accept donations from those interested in improving pre-kindergarten through 12th grade public education statewide and supporting initiatives that benefit RI public school students.

The Fund, established in December 2019 by Commissioner of Elementary and Secondary Education Angélica Infante-Green, is an important avenue through which Rhode Islanders, and beyond, can contribute to efforts to improve public schools and support students and educators statewide. When students are positioned to excel in college, career, and in life, our economy and our state are stronger.

This brochure details how funds allocated in 2022 have aligned with the Rhode Island Department of Education priorities and donor intent for the statewide priorities:

World Class Talent, Excellence in Learning, and Engaged Communities

We thank the generous individuals, corporations, and foundations - named in the brochure - that joined with us to support these efforts in 2022.
