- Since 2019, alcohol-related deaths in Rhode Island have increased sharply which follows the same trend seen nationally.
- The rate of alcohol-related deaths is higher among White Rhode Islanders than Black Rhode Islanders and alcohol-related deaths among males is more than three times that of females.
